Stretch & Bobbito Freestyles [Vol's 3,4,10,11,12,14]

I spotted this over at Philaflava’s message board and definitely felt it was something I should post here.  If you don’t know, Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito had a radio show on WKCR from 1990 to 1998 where they had rappers such as, Big L, Notorious B.I.G, Nas and Big Pun who use to come up and freestyle for them.  After the jump we got six volumes out of the freestyle series that have many great artists from the Mid-90′s Hip Hop period.  Special thanks to the members of Philaflava for bringing this out.  It’s well appreciated.

Rare Video Footage Of 50 Cent

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOe2nVb8qOQ]

This right here is some classic 50 cent video footage from back in the day when he was running with DJ Kid Capri.  I’m sure most of yall have heard this freestyle on a mixtape or another, but when seeing 50 actually spit the verse, it makes it even better.  He also spit one of my favorite lines ever, “Here’s a jewel, love your enemies and hate your friends, your enemies remain the same, friends always change“.  Classic right there.  Enjoy the video.

After the jump I got a nice six part video of a live Nas concert.  Going through all his classics.  Another great watch for a Saturday morning!

Reminiscing At Random

Vinyl

Here at Diggers Union, you never know what to expect! From time to time, we’ll post a few random rarities to make some DJ’s mixes a little more uncommon, if you may.  Here’s one from 1992, when everyone was screaming at the top of their lungs (thanks Onyx).  When was the last time you heard Guru yelling?
