Yesterday, Curren$y woke up and decided to record and release a free 5-track EP all in the same day. After releasing 4 major projects 2011, the Hot Spitta is showing he still has a lot left in him for 2012. The one thing I like about Curren$y is that he chooses obscure instrumentals to rhyme over. A couple of the beats he chose for this project had me reminiscing about Hip-Hop’s golden era. An EP like this every month would suit me just fine. Enjoy and be educated.
